YEAR IN REVIEW 2022

.. And what a year it has been! Following the aftermath of the previous two years, we couldn’t be more grateful for the full retreat calendar of 2022.

We have loved seeing our community continue to grow these past 12 months, and we can’t wait to see what 2023 brings.

But before we fast-forward to the New Year, let’s reflect on the Yoga and Wine Retreats we’ve hosted in Victoria in 2022. And just so you know, we don’t bring any fancy photographers to our retreats to take away from your relaxation experience. All photos below are either taken by us or our guests, as we like to keep things authentic and unfiltered!

FEBRUARY

We kicked off the year with our first ever mid-week retreat in the Yarra Valley.

Our guests spent three nights at the peaceful Cheeky Fox Retreat, one of our favourite venues in Kinglake. Morning flows were combined with afternoon nidra sessions, and pool-side relaxation was alternated with a day trip to some of Yarra Valley’s best wineries. The winery tour started with an outdoor yoga class at Sutherland Estate Winery, and finished with a wine tasting and sumptuous lunch at Yarrawood Estate.

We finished the month of February on another high, thanks to our Yoga and Dinner Event in Melbourne CBD. Following a restorative yin class at Yoga Corner, we made our way to Glamp Cocktail Bar for a delicious dinner paired with wine. It’s all about balance!

MARCH

More relaxation was planned for March, and the weather certainly was on our side. Morning walks, feasting tables, sun salutations and more pool side relaxation made this retreat extra rejuvenating. So rejuvenating in fact, that we decided to book the same venue again for April and May!

APRIL

In April, we added a sound bath to our retreat itinerary – and as always, our private chefs cooked the most delicious and healthy meals for us. Paired with carefully selected wine, of course.

MAY – JUNE

More healthy meals, wine tastings (with Philip Lobley and Steels Gate this time), paint and sip, bush walks and time to soak up some sun at our autumn and winter retreats.

JULY

Our winter wellness retreat in the Mornington Peninsula was the perfect setting to combine yoga with a visit to the Hot Springs, which is what a lot of our guests ended up doing. In fact, it was so popular that we are hosting another winter getaway near the Hot Springs in 2023!

AUGUST – OCTOBER

Following 2 years of consistent lockdowns, our founder Sab and her husband went to Europe to spend some much-needed time with friends and family. Countries visited: The Netherlands, UK and Greece. Potential yoga venues sourced: too many!! Expect a Yoga Retreat in Greece in 2024..

NOVEMBER

Following 10 weeks of eating our way through Europe, we were super excited to get back into the swing of things!

Our first retreat being back in Australia was planned for 4-6 November, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend! With all the flooding and rainfall that happened in the previous weeks, the sun made an appearance for most of the weekend, resulting in muddy bush walks and outdoor relaxation.

DECEMBER

Another stunner of a weekend, this time at King Parrot Cottages in the Otway Ranges.

Thirteen women left the daily hustle behind to spend 2 or 3 nights immersed in nature. With beautiful views, a spacious yoga studio, cocktail making class, private and shared cottages, as well as horses, dogs, bulls, birds and kangaroos, we couldn’t have asked for a better finish of 2022.

SO WHAT’S HAPPENING IN 2023?

Keen to retreat with us in 2023? We have plenty of retreats lined up for you: We are going back to the Yarra Valley, The Mornington Peninsula, and Otway Ranges – and we also have a Bali retreat planned for you.

Tickets are selling like hot cakes, and some retreats are already sold out. You can request to be added to the waitlist in the retreat listing, and get first dibs on tickets for newly released retreats.

Besides all retreats that are currently on sale, we are working on more getaways, including an Urban Retreat in Melbourne CBD: Expect Yoga at Melbourne Skydeck, a food tour and more…

Got questions? We love a chat!

Hope to see you soon at one of our retreats.
