Cambodia is warm all year round and has several seasons:
The Dry Season – from November to May – can be divided into two sub-seasons:
The Cool Season, from November to February, is peak time for tourism. Mild temperatures make this the perfect time to explore the country.
The Hot Season, from March to May, sees temperatures rise, sometimes up to 35°C in the cities. It’s the best time to visit the coast but might be way too hot for visiting the magical temple complex of Angkor.
The Rainy Season, from June to October is the quietest time to visit Cambodia. Rain showers fall mostly during the afternoon. September and October are the wettest months.
Keep in mind that it can be difficult to travel around the country as dirt roads turn to mud and flooding is possible. This is the a great time to visit Cambodia if you like lush and green vegetation.
