Taking inspiration from the Hindu epic poem, the Mahabharata, where Svarga Loka is described as ‘Good Kingdom’, a heavenly paradise for the Hindu Gods, this passionate recreation offers comfortable accommodation for all to enjoy. With a cutting edge wellness centre, a Balinese spa, yoga and meditation halls, martial arts centre, healthy dining restaurant and relaxation pools, Svarga Loka will meet all your needs. The nurturing, friendly atmosphere will be perfect for those looking to host a group retreat in Bali.

With a dose of yoga, swimming and massage your body will be rejuvenated after staying at Svarga Loka. Take advantage of the highly personalised therapeutic treatments and relaxation techniques while breathing in the fresh, clean air from the surrounding rainforest. Svarga Loka are proud of their ‘farm to table’ initiative, with a local organic garden producing and providing vegetables to the restaurant such as mints, long beans and lettuces. The al fresco rainforest riverside restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, boasts a healthy focus featuring delicious hints of Ayurvedic, macrobiotic, vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

Svarga Loka sits on the riverbanks of the beautiful Campuhan river in Ubud, Bali. A hidden gem, nestled in a rainforest, this is the perfect place to slow down, relax, and restore peace of mind. Enjoy your tranquil suite, take in a soothing massage, and float in the swimming pool as your mind drifts free. Private and group yoga classes are available in one of the four yoga halls, as well as guided meditation and peaceful early morning ride paddy walks.

Confirmed by local priests and healers, the land on which Svarga Loka sits has powerful energy. To honor the land and its gifts, the owners designed the Balinese retreat without moving a single tree. The owners wish for every guest to be touched by Svarga Loka, helping them to build their dreams for a fulfilled and happy life. This kindness spreads to the ongoing support of several charities in Bali, such as the initiative with BIWA, Bali International Women’s Association’s breast cancer awareness program, and BaliWise Foundation, a charity that offers education and job opportunities to marginalised women all over Indonesia.

Getting away from it all and enjoying a location far removed from your normal life. With views of the rainforest all around, guided rice paddy walks, and a fresh local cuisine to engage your palate, it’s the perfect getaway to connect with the Balinese culture.

Guests who have booked a structured wellness program will follow a daily schedule with classes, spa services and therapeutic treatments. Additional on-site activities that can be enjoyed by everyone include morning walks, sunrise yoga, offering making, and martial arts.

Those looking for more adventuring can take advantage of the wellness retreat’s central location in Bali. Rice paddy walks and Balinese cycling tours are popular, as is white water rafting on the Ayung River.

For early birds, we recommend traversing local climbing spots like Mt Batur or Mt Agung and watch the sunrise, which is a truly life-enhancing experience.

Svarga Loka Resort provides 45 Balinese style, comfortable rooms and suites, all accented with natural furnishings and nestled in the rainforest between trees that lead down to the beautiful Campuhan riverbank.
