OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q: I AM NEW TO YOGA. CAN I JOIN YOUR YOGA RETREATS?

Absolutely! Our retreat guests are a mix of regular practitioners and beginners, or women who have dabbled in yoga many moons ago. Whether you join a retreat in Greece, Bali or Australia, every yoga class is catered to all-levels. Our knowledgeable and friendly teachers are fully qualified and they will guide you through your yoga classes step-by-step. We will always encourage you to listen to your body and do what feels right for you.

Q: IF I JOIN YOUR YOGA RETREATS ALONE, CAN I STILL SHARE A TWIN ROOM?

We love welcoming solo travellers at our yoga retreats! Most retreats have a 50/50 mix of solo guests and friends who travel together. If you are joining alone we will pair you up with another female solo guests in a twin room. Upon request, we will also introduce you to each other prior to the retreat so you can get to know each other a little better beforehand. From the moment you walk in we’ll make you feel at home. We promise friendly faces and easygoing conversations.

Q: ARE ALL RETREAT ACTIVITIES AND YOGA CLASSES MANDATORY?

Nope! Of course we LOVE it if you attend all yoga sessions and join us for bush walks or wine-tastings, but if you feel that you want to self-care in a different way at that moment, there will be no judgement or funny faces! This is very much YOUR getaway and you decide how much you want to be involved. Especially for our multi-day yoga holidays – such as the 7-night Greek Island retreat – we totally understand if you need a little space now and again. It’s important that you find the right balance that works for you.

Q: CAN YOU CATER FOR FOOD ALLERGIES AT ALL YOUR RETREATS?

Absolutely. Our talented chefs have catered for all sorts of dietary needs from gluten and lactose intolerances to low fodmap diets and peanut allergies. You can fill out your dietary needs in the booking form. We need to know about any allergies at least 2 weeks prior to our yoga retreats in Victoria. For our Balinese & European yoga retreats, the sooner we know the better so we can liaise with our suppliers on the ground.

Q: CAN YOU CATER FOR VEGANS/VEGETARIANS?

Absolutely. Meals are vegetarian (some entirely vegan) and truly delicious at our retreats. Vegetarian/Vegan food does not mean boring and bland. Our private chefs will prep all food from scratch and previous guests have raved about it. Don’t just take our word for it though, feel free to browse our Google Reviews and find out for yourself. For our European yoga retreats, depending on location and guests, we might throw in a vegetarian and/or fish barbecue, with perhaps some live music.. Remember, you can always tell us in the booking form which foods you don’t eat and we’ll pass it on to our chefs.

FAQ's REGARDING OUR YOGA RETREATS IN VICTORIA AND BALI CONTINUED

Q: WHAT STYLE OF YOGA DO YOU TEACH?

We teach Vinyasa flow classes in the morning (step-by-step flows linking breath to movement), and restorative Yin classes in the evening or afternoons. Besides Vinyasa and Yin yoga, we’ll also guide you through Yoga Nidra bodyscan meditations, and perhaps a Pilates class or two. Whereas it’s not mandatory, we recommend you attend a few yoga classes prior to attending one of our yoga retreats just to make the experience more enjoyable for you. Feel free to contact us if you want to book a few private yoga classes prior to your getaway.

Q: WHY SHOULD I BOOK A WOMEN’S ONLY YOGA RETREAT?

Our mission is to encourage women to unapologetically take time to self-care – every single day. Our retreats and yoga holidays are designed to bring a bunch of amazing women together and give them the opportunity to step away from the daily grind. We love sharing healthy meals and stories at the dinner table as much as we enjoy guiding you through your daily movement and meditation practice. Retreats are well-balanced and give you the opportunity to enjoy the finer things in life: yoga, sunsets, genuine connections, champagne and chocolate, and amazing food paired with delicious wine. You can look at our yoga retreats as small group holidays for women that include yoga, Pilates, healthy and nourishing meals, and a chance to connect – and make friends – with likeminded people.

Q: DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS FOR YOUR YOGA RETREAT PACKAGES?

On request, yes. Depending on how far in advance you book your retreat.

You pay a deposit to guarantee your spot at the retreat, and the remaining balance is due 60/90 days prior. We always ask that you have paid the full amount prior to the start of the retreat as we have a commitment to vendors, venues and suppliers.

Q: HOW MANY GUESTS ATTEND YOUR YOGA RETREATS?

We like to keep our retreats intimate and small. We have learned from experience that the ‘magic numbers’ are groups between 8 and 14 guests. It’s easier to have conversations at the dinner table, and it allows us to continue to provide that personalised approach that people seem to love!
