We might not be able to retreat with you in real life, but we can still do the things we love together: practice yoga, taste wine, enjoy good food and even better (virtual) company!
Our 3 Day At-Home Yoga & Wine Retreat is fully flexible and gives you the opportunity to ‘retreat your way’. You have the option to book the Yoga and Movement Classes only, and you can also add-on a virtual wine tasting and grazing box (depending on your location) at extra cost. Not available for the entire weekend? No problem. You can book singular drop in classes via Sabijn Linssen Yoga.
DATES: New Dates TBC
In a world where we live with lockdown laws and shut borders, it’s proven to be very difficult to switch off and rejuvenate. Whereas we truly miss connecting with our usual retreat guests in real life, we hope that our online At-Home Yoga Retreat will give you a mini-reset.
We may not be able to practice yoga and taste wine in the same space, but connecting together – even when being miles apart – can still be pretty powerful!
So give yourself permission to take care of YOU. Nourish your mind, move your body, laugh and connect with friends and meet new people, and join our 3 Day Online Yoga Retreat from the comfort of your home.
Please note that the below retreat itinerary is flexible in order to give you more control over your weekend schedule and cost involved. We recommend that you join all yoga classes to reap the most benefits from your retreat but we fully understand if you can’t make it to all sessions. You also have the choice to opt-out of the virtual wine-tasting to keep the retreat within your budget.
6pm | Sip & Stretch
One of our signature lockdown classes, this slow mo stretch class will focus on releasing tension in shoulders and hips whilst we cheekily sip on our favourite drink. Kombucha, wine or G&T, we shall not judge!
BYO drink (not included in the retreat price)
7pm | Post Sip & Stretch Chat – optional
9.30 – 11am | 90 mins All-Levels Vinyasa Slow
Start your Saturday with a little sleep-in before your mid-morning yoga practice. You will start the class with meditation followed by a step-by-step flowing sequence of postures in which we link breath to movements. Expect both mat-based and standing postures, and an extra long juicy Savasana at the end.
11am – 4pm | Free Time / Time Slot for Grazing Box delivery
Usually when we’re on retreat this is when we schedule massages, walks or other activities. For this At-Home Retreat we recommend you stay in ‘zen-mode’ to help you to restore and re-energise. We’ve listed some ideas, but please keep in mind this is also the time slot for your optional grazing box delivery.
4 – 5pm | Chill Yoga & Nidra
Continue your at-home retreat with 30 mins of slow-mo movements followed by 30 mins of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation that allows for deep intentional rest. It is best practiced lying down and we either recommend you create a super comfortable and supportive space for yourself using yoga props and/or cushions, but you can also do this lying in bed. All you have to ‘do’ is simply be and breathe. There is no wrong way to do this!
5 – 7pm | Free Time
Following your Chill and Yoga Nidra session, simply listen to your body and see what you intuitively need in this moment. You might want to sleep, snooze, go for a walk, have a shower to wake you up, or prepare some dinner in case you want something else than the grazing box and wine tasting this evening.
7 – 8pm | Virtual Wine Tasting with Steels Gate Winery
Fun guaranteed with this online wine tasting hosted by our friends at Steels Gate Wines. Owned by wine makers Brad Atkins and Matthew Davis, Steels Gate Cellar Door and Restaurant is located in the beautiful Yarra Valley. Brad and Matthew have been producing wine since 2010, and we have been lucky enough to taste most of their wines. Someone’s gotta do it!
If you choose to join the wine tasting (which we hope you will!), Steels Gate wines will deliver 3 bottles of wine to your door in the days leading up to the retreat. You will taste their Riesling, Bastardo and Shiraz.
You can add-on a delicious Grazing Box* from our friends, The Green Chef, to accompany your wines. Includes cheeses to match your wines! Hallelujah! *Delivery restrictions apply. See pricing.
9.30 – 11am | Fit & Flow
Hosted by our founder Sab and her husband Oli, our Fit & Flow class has become a staple for many of our virtual yoga friends. Oli will guide you through the first 45 minutes of class with a focus on gentle cardio and body weight movements (weights optional). Following the Fit part of the session, Sab will guide you through 45 minutes of flowing mat-based movements to stretch muscles and release tension in both body and mind. All levels of fitness welcome!
11am – 3pm | Free Time
3 – 4.15pm | Yin Yoga & Sound Healing
To end our online retreat, you’ll be treated to 45 minutes of restorative yin yoga in which we hold postures a little longer (approx. 3 mins). Once Sab has guided you into your final Savasana, we finish the class with 30 minutes of virtual Sound Healing with Vesna Vavladellis. Allow yourself to drift off and listen to the beautiful melodies of a variety of musical instruments.
4.15pm | End of retreat, optional tea and chat online
Yoga and Movement only

Set up a private space in your home, roll out your yoga mat and gather all your yoga props/alternatives:
Switch off your phone, light some candles and try to prepare a space that has as little distractions as possible. Throw a blanket over your TV, and perhaps use earphones when doing the classes if you find that comfortable. Try to remain in ‘retreat-mode’ as best you can in between classes and activities and place any non-urgent work or family related matters on hold. Everything can wait. YOU deserve this time for you.
Yoga and Movement
Your host for this online retreat will be our founder Sabijn Linssen (Sab). She is a fully qualified Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Instructor in Melbourne and is in the process of doing a Pilates Teacher Training. With over 1000 hours of teaching experience she will guide you through creative, playful and intelligently sequenced yoga classes.
Sab loves to teach classes with a focus on linking breath to movement so that your entire yoga practice becomes a moving meditation. She truly believes life is best lived in balance which reflects in her yoga retreats and events.
Virtual Wine Tasting
We will of course join you for the online wine tasting, but we’ll be handing over the reins to winemakers Brad Atkins and Matthew Davis.
These fun-loving wine connoisseurs will tell you all about their beautiful winery in the Yarra Valley, their ‘Home-Block’ vineyard in Kinglake and of course their delicious wines. Personally, we can’t wait!
Your sound healing host is Meditation and Mindfulness Facilitator Vesna Vavladellis. With a keen interest in women’s health and trauma therapy, Vesna’s true passion lies in empowering women at all stages of their life. For those joining our Torquay retreat, you will get to meet her in real life.
