What you’ve all been waiting for! The most epic all female yoga holiday in the Greek Islands is in the making. We are spending a blissful week in Kefalonia, a breathtaking island in the Ionian Sea. Our retreat schedule is designed to help you relax and replenish with daily yoga, Pilates, healthy meals, fun wine tastings, and so much more.

Picture this. You wake up to the sound of mother nature, and make your way to the olive grove where a spacious yoga deck awaits your morning practice. Following an energising Vinyasa flow you indulge with a sumptuous brunch, whilst looking back on yesterday’s winery tour. You spend your afternoon relaxing in a hammock or enjoying a holiday read by one of the pools.
After a little power nap and dip in the Ionian Sea you get ready for a poolside cocktail hour. Next, you’ll share an Al Fresco dinner with delicious home-made Greek food and perhaps a glass of (also home-made!) wine.. So far, you have only spent 2 days at this Greek Island Yoga Retreat, and any daily life stressors have melted away. Six more days of sunshine, yoga, wine, great food, and making genuine connections. Life is good..
Firstly and foremost, this is your holiday! We absolutely LOVE it if all our guests participate in all activities, yoga and movement classes, meditations and communal dinners. However, we also know that sometimes you need a bit of space for yourself. Or, perhaps a longer sleep in. And that’s more than OK. We encourage you to listen to your body and do what’s best for your body and your mindset.

Day 1 – 07 September ’24

3 – 5pm | Grab your goodie bag, meet and greet with your host, get settled into your room and take your first dip in the pool!
5pm | Slow Mo Yin-Style Class, to help melt away any jetlag and muscular tension from your travels.
7pm | Welcome Feast with Wine (or non-alcoholic beverages if you prefer)

12pm | Wine Tasting/Tour, we’ll whisk you away by private bus to a nearby winery where you will enjoy a lovely afternoon with a delicious wine tasting.

8am | Pilates & Stretches, work your deep core muscles and booty with an all-levels Pilates sesh followed by superb stretches to soothe your muscles.

Between your sumptuous Brunches and Dinners, we’ll provide light afternoon snacks at the villas. Alternatively, there is a local mini-market down the road. You are welcome to use the self-catering facilities or treat yourself to a lunch at the local Panas Hotel or taverna. We promise, you won’t go hungry!

We equally understand that travelling solo can be a little scary, especially if it’s your first time venturing out on your own. Or perhaps it’s your first time venturing to Europe. Whatever your situation, we welcome solo travellers with open arms and friendly faces. Many of our previous retreat guests have attended solo, and many are still enjoying those long-lasting bonds that were created during the retreat. You can choose a private room all to yourself – or, if you prefer a twin room, we’ll pair you up with another solo traveller. No problem!
In short: We have chosen a stunning retreat venue on the island of Kefalonia with several accommodation options dotted throughout the grounds. You will have access to a private pool, lush green grounds and the Ionian Sea within walking distance.
A beautiful and spacious undercover yoga deck is situated amongst olive groves, making it the perfect space for our yoga & Pilates sessions.
You will have the option to choose between private and shared accommodation with private or shared bathrooms.
We believe life is best lived in balance, and as much as we love to eat healthy meals, we also love to enjoy local wines and support local wine makers at all our retreat destinations. That does not mean this is an all-inclusive or bottomless retreat. We want you to walk away from this experience feeling amazing and refreshed. Therefore, all wine inclusions are as per the itinerary, and you are welcome to purchase more wine at the venue or local market. It goes without saying that all alcoholic beverages are entirely optional.
We are so excited to head back to the beautiful island of Kefalonia for a fabulous all female Yoga Retreat. Our founder Sab actually when on honeymoon here back in 2016.. She knows firsthand how magnificent the scenery is, how friendly the people are and how delicious the food & wine is.
We believe Vericoco is the perfect venue for a Yoga Retreat in Greece as it offers guests a chance to relax with likeminded people whilst being surrounded by nature. The venue is set within olive groves and offers incredible views of the magnificent Mount Aenos, as well as the Ionian Sea.
With a shaded yoga deck, two pools, organic vegetable gardens, plenty of greenery and various nooks and lounge areas, there is ample space to retreat yourself for some quiet time, or connect with fellow retreat guests.
Your home for the week features a variety of accommodation options, including 2 luxury villas (with pool) and stylish apartments/studios.
All accommodation options will be revealed soon. If you have registered for the pre-sale, we will contact you personally prior to the retreat going on sale so you have first dibs on rooms.
We might be a little biased, but we wholeheartedly believe our destination of choice will not disappoint. The villa is located on one of the largest Greek Islands, Kefalonia. Spartia Beach is a 300m walk away, and there are a handful of cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the villas.
When flying in from Australia, we highly recommend Emirates Airlines via Athens, with a connecting flight to Kefalonia. If you are planning to travel around Europe before the retreat, the UK offers direct flights to Kefalonia and you can also catch a ferry from Zakynthos. Please note flights are not included but we are happy to connect you with a local travel agent.
Your host, Yoga & Pilates teacher and go-to person for your yoga retreat in Kefalonia, Greece, is Sabijn Linssen (Sab). She is the founder of Retreat Here and has hosted countless yoga retreats and events. Sab loves the Greek Islands and has travelled to almost all of them. She appreciates good food and wine, and is a big believer of the importance of genuine human connection.
On top of that, she knows how important it is to listen to your own body, which reflects in her yoga classes.
