We have been hosting yoga retreats in Victoria since 2017 and like to think we know a thing or two about creating the most amazing getaways. Whether you join alone (we love solo travellers!) or bring a friend, sister or mother/daughter, we invite you to let go of all external distractions and dedicate a whole weekend to yourself.
We are fortunate to work with the best chefs in the industry who create healthy and delicious meals with your wellbeing in mind. Eating nutritious food can be hard in today’s fast-paced world. Our retreats give you a chance to nourish your body with wholesome meals and hopefully give you some inspiration for the months that follow. Of course, a Retreat Here escape wouldn’t be complete with a little bit of indulgence – and you’ll see some ‘naughty’ treats at our Friday feasting table! As we do believe life is best lived in balance, your Saturday dinner is paired with matching wines. No hard feelings or judgement if you wish to sip on water, tea or kombucha instead.

Adding on Thursday night is a lovely way to settle into your weekend. We usually share stories and get to know each other prior to meeting the Friday guests. Your host Sab will be there to join you!
NOTE: Friday breakfast is included if you add the Thursday night, however, your retreat meals start with dinner on Friday night. Please supply your own lunch for Friday afternoon or head out to explore the area.

We are beyond excited to be able to call King Parrot Cottages near the Great Ocean Road our home for the weekend. The venue has recently been taken over by new owners and they are the nicest people ever. We have – as always – visited the venue and we can tell you that the views are incredible!
Our retreat venue is nestled on a north-facing hillside and consists of five separate cottages and a communal lodge with yoga hall. Also, there are plenty of walking tracks in the area, lots of wildlife and gorgeous views of the Otway Ranges.

Your host for the weekend and yoga instructor is Sabijn Linssen (Sab).
Originally from The Netherlands, Sab has lived in Melbourne with her husband since 2012. She worked in the travel and event industry for more than 15 years and traded the corporate world for a life in the wellness (and wine..) industry.
Her passion is to help connect like-minded women in real life and she’s been creating and hosting Yoga Retreats in Victoria since 2017. She is the founder of Retreat Here, and a massive advocate of a balanced lifestyle.
As a qualified 200-hr Vinyasa yoga instructor with a strong yoga practice for over 14 years, she will give adjustments and variations to all levels. With over 1000+ teaching hours, her classes are a mix of creative flows and moving meditations.
Furthermore, Sab has also completed a 60-hr Yin teacher training, a 20-hr Yoga for Anatomy training and a Pilates Teacher Training with the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute.
