RETREAT ITINERARY AND WHAT TO EXPECT AT OUR SUMMER YOGA RETREAT IN VICTORIA

We have been hosting yoga retreats in Victoria since 2017 and like to think we know a thing or two about creating the most amazing getaways. Whether you are joining alone (we love solo travellers!) or want to bring a friend, sister or your mother/daughter, we invite you to let go of all external distractions and dedicate a whole weekend to yourself.

We are so fortunate to work with the best chefs in the industry who create healthy and delicious meals with your wellbeing in mind. Of course, our retreats wouldn’t be complete with a little bit of indulgence – hello cheese and wine! Nourish your body with wholesome meals and calm your mind with meditation and restorative yin sessions.

In addition, all our retreats give you plenty of time to relax and enjoy some well-deserve you time.

RETREAT SCHEDULE

Thursday 15 December ’22 (optional)

3pm | Arrival and Welcome for anyone who booked the extra Thursday night
6-8pm | Self-catered dinner at your leisure (please BYO)

Adding on Thursday night is a lovely way to settle into your weekend. We usually share stories and get to know each other prior to meeting the Friday guests. Your host Sab will be there to join you!

NOTE: Friday breakfast is included if you add the Thursday night, however, your retreat meals start with dinner on Friday night. Please supply your own lunch for Friday afternoon or head out to explore the area.

Friday 16 December ’22

We are beyond excited to be able to call King Parrot Cottages near the Great Ocean Road our home for the weekend. The venue has recently been taken over by new owners and they are the nicest people ever. We have – as always – visited the venue and we can tell you that the views are incredible!

Our retreat venue is nestled on a north-facing hillside and consists of five separate cottages and a communal lodge with yoga hall. Also, there are plenty of walking tracks in the area, lots of wildlife and gorgeous views of the Otway Ranges.

When you make your booking, the default price is Twin Room Shared Bath at $897 and you have the option to upgrade as per the accommodation prices above:

  • $150 p.p. upgrade to Private Queen Room with Shared Bathroom
  • $200 p.p. upgrade to Shared Queen Room (friends sharing bed) in Private Cottage for Two
  • $300 p.p. upgrade to Exclusive Private Cottage for One
  • Add On Thursday night incl. Friday breakfast $225 (please note dinner on Thu and Fri lunch is NOT included)

When sharing a room or cottage with a friend, you can refer to each other’s name in the booking form so we know who to pair you with.

YOGA INSTRUCTOR AND RETREAT HOST

Your host for the weekend and yoga instructor is Sabijn Linssen (Sab).

Originally from The Netherlands, Sab has lived in Melbourne with her husband since 2012. She worked in the travel and event industry for more than 15 years and traded the corporate world for a life in the wellness (and wine..) industry.

Her passion is to help connect like-minded women in real life and she’s been creating and hosting Yoga and Wine Retreats since 2017. She is the founder of Retreat Here, and a massive advocate of a balanced lifestyle.

ALL LEVELS WELCOME

As a qualified 200-hr Vinyasa yoga instructor with a strong yoga practice for over 14 years, she will give adjustments and variations to all levels. With over 1000+ teaching hours, her classes are a mix of creative flows and moving meditations.

Furthermore, Sab has also completed a 60-hr Yin teacher training, a 20-hr Yoga for Anatomy training and a Pilates Teacher Training with the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We understand life can get in the way of your retreat experiences, and we ask that you familiarise yourself with our full terms and conditions.

As a quick guide:

  • Your deposit is non-refundable unless we can find a replacement for you.
  • Any cancellations made within 60 days of the retreat means you will forfeit your ticket and any fees paid.
  • All refunds are at the discretion of Retreat Here.
  • As we have to pay suppliers and venues upfront, we cannot make any exception to the above cancellation policy.
  • You are always welcome to request to transfer your ticket to another (female) friend if you have to cancel at the last minute.
