Missed out on our March getaway? We’ve got plenty more yoga retreats on sale, including a yoga escape to The Otways, and a winter wellness retreat in the Yarra Valley.
Our women’s only Yoga Retreat in the Yarra Valley allows you to take a step back from your day-to-day hustle.
We have been hosting retreats since 2017 and like to think we know a thing or two about creating the perfect yoga holiday with a twist. Our retreats are far from traditional, and give you an opportunity to practice yoga in a down-to-earth environment. There is plenty of time to relax over a cuppa or a wine, and we prefer our guests get to know each other organically rather than starting the weekend with an opening circle.
In addition, our chefs create the most amazing dishes with your wellbeing in mind, but we’re not shy to enjoy the beautiful produce that Yarra Valley has to offer, including the region’s most delicious wines and cheese. Of course all wines are optional!
Thursday 2 March ’23
For those wanting a longer getaway and ease their way into the retreat, the Thursday night add-on is an excellent option. Total cost per person is $195, and includes Friday morning breakfast. Thursday dinner and Friday lunch is self-catered, a perfect opportunity to enjoy the local produce on offer. There’s a great restaurant nearby that offers takeaway and dine-in. We’ll be waiting for you (maybe with a glass of wine!).

We’ve lost count of the number of times we’ve hosted a retreat at Cheeky Fox Retreat and with good reason. This beautiful Kinglake home offers amazing views, more than 50 acres of private bush and a sense of tranquility you just don’t get in Melbourne metro. The house features 5 bedrooms, all with a queen bed and single bed, 3.5 bathrooms and a master bedroom with ensuite that we will convert into our Yoga and Meditation space (also with views over the ranges!). There’s a private cinema, a cute library den where you can retreat yourself, solar heated pool, and a lovely bush track to get your morning walk on.
We honestly can’t wait to welcome you here.
You will get a full itinerary nearer the time but to give you an idea, here is a list of pretty much the only things you should pack:
Don’t be shy! We love solo travellers!
Most of our yoga retreats in Victoria have a great mix of guests who travel alone or friends who have paired up. Also, we get quite a few mother-daughter duos! If you are planning to retreat with us on your own, we can either pair you up with another female solo guest in a twin room, or you can book a single room (if still available).
All inclusions as per the schedule are incorporated in the prices below.
Your host and instructor for this yoga retreat in Yarra Valley is our founder Sabijn Linssen (Sab).
Sab was born in The Netherlands and has lived in Melbourne since 2012. Following a successful career in the Travel and Event industry, she decided it was time to pursue her lifelong dream of being her own boss. She founded Retreat Here in 2017 and also created Sabijn Linssen Yoga (SLY) in 2019.
It is her absolute passion to help women feel at their best and giving them space to self care, which is why she loves creating and hosting retreats, and teaching weekly yoga classes with SLY.
As a qualified 200-hr Vinyasa yoga instructor with a strong yoga practice since 2008, Sab will provide modifications and variations to beginners. Her classes are a mix of creative slow flows and moving meditations.
She has also completed a 60-hr Yin teacher training, a 20-hr Yoga for Anatomy training and a Pilates Teacher Training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.
