We have been organising yoga retreats in Victoria for over 5 years. Whether you’re a regular or new retreat guest, you can expect friendly faces, lots of laughs and zero judgement if you prefer to sleep in instead of joining a morning yoga class.
At this Yoga & Pilates Retreat in the Yarra Valley we will encourage you to do what’s right for you. This is your getaway, and we totally understand if you need a little bit more you-time.
You will fuel your body with goodness thanks to the on-site private chef. Furthermore, because we love to host ‘not-so-serious’ retreats, you will pamper your tastebuds with a fun wine tasting or two (optional, of course). Expect a welcoming environment, all-levels Yoga & Pilates, and the right balance between scheduled time and free time.

With a stunning view that you won’t ever forget, 50 acres of private land and bush tracks, lots of greenery, a pool, private cinema, library den and converted Yoga & Meditation space, your home away from home will provide you with all the creature comforts.
Furthermore, Cheeky Fox Retreat features 5 lush bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and enough space to retreat yourself to read, nap or chat with fellow guests.

Absolutely no problem. We have plenty of single guests at every retreat. In general, the ratio of female solo retreat guests to friends who join the retreat together is about 50/50. This can of course varies per retreat. Rest assured you will never feel alone (unless you want some space and be alone) or left out.
As a solo traveller, you have the choice to book a twin room and we’ll pair you up with another single (female) guest. If you prefer to book a private room, our Yarra Valley retreat is the perfect place for it. Not all retreat venue we use allow for private rooms.
Our founder, Sabijn Linssen (Sab), will look after you for the entire duration of your Yarra Valley Yoga & Pilates Retreat. Sab was born and raised in The Netherlands and has a background in the travel and event industry. She is a fully qualified Yoga & Pilates Instructor in Melbourne and has more than 2000 hours of teaching yoga & Pilates under her belt. Sab loves to eat healthy but can equally appreciate a delicious cheese platter and smooth Shiraz.
Her yoga retreats are down to earth, welcoming, fun, inclusive and open to women of all levels of fitness. In addition to creating a welcoming space for her guests, she equally loves to mingle with everyone and build a personal connection.
Sab’s Yoga classes are a mix of playful movements and intelligently sequenced flows with a focus on mobility and functional movement.
You can expect dynamic (all-levels) vinyasa flows as well as slower flows to build strength and resilience in both body and mid. Every vinyasa class emphasises the importance of linking breath to movement, and always has an element of restorative poses and meditation.
Her Yin classes are soothing and very restful. She’ll tell you all about how to use your breath as a tool to reset your nervous system in order to find deep relaxation.
Expect some (optional) challenges in Sab’s Pilates classes, with adjustments given to those who want to take it easier. A perfect addition to your yoga practice, the Pilates sessions are an opportunity for you to work on core strength and stability, and learn about the importance of a well-balanced movement routine.
She’ll also provide resistance bands and Pilates balls for those wanting an extra challenge!

Before you dive into the retreat inclusions, we want to emphasise that this is very much your getaway. All classes and activities are optional, and you decide which Vinyasa, Yin or Pilates class you want to join.
Please note this is a boutique retreat with only space for max. 8 women.
