We like to think that our women’s only Yoga holidays in Victoria, Europe and Bali bring you the best of both worlds: a heap of wellness combined with a pinch of indulgence. Our aim is to help you rest and relax so you can be the best version of yourself.

In today’s goal-oriented society it’s not always easy to find the time to care for your wellbeing. Yet, slowing down, eating healthy foods, connecting with (new-found) friends, and movement and meditation are crucial for a healthy body and a happy mind.

We have crafted a clever itinerary for you with the perfect balance between energising yoga flows and restful meditation sessions. In between the nourishing and delicious meals – all cooked from scratch by your private chef – there’s ample free time to relax or chat with fellow guests. As icing on the cake, we also provide massages and fine wines!

King Parrot Cottages features five individual cottages with various accommodation options. All are well-designed, spacious and super peaceful. There’s also a communal lodge including dining and kitchen area with stunning landscape views.

Our guests will stay in twin or private rooms in the main Lodge and Mannagum cottage. You have the option to request a private cottage all to yourself – subject to availability.

Our yoga and wellness retreat in Victoria’s Otway Ranges will be hosted by our founder Sabijn Linssen (Sab!). She is a fully certified yoga and Pilates instructor and a huge advocate of living a balanced life. Sab has successfully completed a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training and a 60-hour Yin Training with two renowned yoga schools, as well as Mat and Reformer Pilates with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. She continuously works to evolve her yoga, Pilates & mobility knowledge, and will always encourage you to make your practice your own.

Her favourite part of being a retreat host is the ability to connect likeminded women, help them practice yoga in a down-to-earth environment, and swap stories at the dinner table whilst sharing delicious food and wine. She has been hosting retreats since 2017 and will welcome you with open arms (and a glass of bubbles)!


Sab’s yoga and Pilates classes are catered to all-levels. Whereas it’s not mandatory to have practiced yoga or Pilates prior to attending one of our retreats, we do recommend having done a few classes to enhance your retreat experience. Expect Vinyasa flows that are creatively sequenced with adjustments given to all levels, and Yin and Nidra sessions to provide deep rest and relaxation. Pilates classes are designed to strengthen those all important muscles that will help you boost your yoga practice.


We understand life can get in the way of your retreat experiences, and we ask that you familiarise yourself with our full terms and conditions. As a quick guide:

  • Deposit of $500 needed to guarantee your spot at the retreat
  • Deposit is non-refundable
  • Any cancellations made within 90 days of the retreat means you will forfeit your ticket and any fees paid.

I have just come back from the June women's only "Retreat Here" Bali yoga retreat, in the stunning Uluwatu region. I highly recommend this experience to any woman who wants to take time out to really look after themselves, both physically and mentally.Sab is a fantastic yoga and pilates teacher - she is calm but funny, and very skilled at creating sessions that, with her support, fit any level of fitness/skill level.The venue was gorgeous, as well as being private - it was so beautiful doing yoga beside the pool, and the rooms were super comfortable. We were close walking distance to an abundance of shops and restaurants, and a short drive away from amazing local sites - Uluwatu temple with its Kecak fire dance performance, the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue, and the"Single Fin" surf bar to name a few.The food was delicious and varied, and the cocktails were divine.Sab always creates an environment that feels very safe, friendly and relaxed.  She made sure that everyone was happy and had exactly what they needed - if they didn't she would be on to it immediately.I think the retreats are exceptional value for money. If you are trying to decide whether or not to book a retreat with Sab, I would say do it! Your body and your mind will thank you.
I have attended a few of the Retreat Here events in Melbourne over the last few years. I cannot recommend Sab or the events more highly. They are always so much fun, a great group of people and always great yoga or pilates. It never matters what your level is, or if you have any limitations etc., Sab is always so accommodating with the yoga and pilates and you get a great experience. The 2023 Bali retreat was the third I’ve done with Retreat Here. I’ve another three more booked across the next 12 months. Sab is unpretentious and welcoming, with all levels of yoga accommodated. Retreat Here is my go to recommendation for yoga retreats. I have returned from an amazing time at the inaugural Bali retreat which was held in Uluwatu. Sab brought the most fabulous group of women together for the week which consisted of lots of conversations by the pool, daily yoga, pilates, massages, gorgeous food, cocktails and plenty of laughter.As usual, the classes were balanced and well paced for a range of levels. The accommodation was stunning and I returned feeling relaxed with some fantastic new relationships that have continued beyond the retreat.If you have any concerns as a solo traveller, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Sab is welcoming, warm and always manages to create the perfect environment for everyone to thrive and get what they need from the retreat.

This would have to be one of those experiences that I would highly recommend. It was beautifully organised with an amazing yoga instructor Sab. The Venu in the Otways was simply pure bliss. We had yoga before dinner on the day you arrived. The next day we practice more yoga in the morning before breakfast and a simply relaxing session before dinner at night. The rest was your time to relax, unwind and simply do what you want to do. It's you retreat! The private Chef cooked up delicious Vegan flavoursome meals that were presented beautifully. This retreat is a excellent way to unwind, relax, detox, meet new people and take up a great practice, yoga. Thankyou Sab for hosting such a wonderfully relaxing weekend! The yoga was just what I needed, and it was great to try a variety of classes (yin, flow, nidra, and sound healing). There was no hectic schedule or pressure to do any activities you didnt want to, so was perfect for a bit of backyard sunning and reading. The food was AMAZING, I cant speak any higher of the wonderful chefs from @madame_feasts who provided delicious canapes, mains and desserts all paired with perfect wines. The venue at the Summer House was beautiful, and nice and close to the beautiful coastline for beach walks. I would come back again in a heartbeat!!

(You have options to cover different dietary needs, food is delicious and dish presentation is gourmet quality.)Finally, we went to a third place where we had a final wine tasting at a large table with all the beautiful ladies participating in the retreat.Personally, I had nobody to accompany me on this adventure, so I went there by myself but I never ever felt lonely. The rest of the group were so nice and friendly ! You have a chance to meet new people, have chats and tons of fun and laughs. I went on this yoga retreat know one other lady plus of course Sab - I came away having forged some lovely friendships with 5 other ladies as well. The Summer House is absolutely perfect for this retreat location, the food cooked up on Saturday by our personal chefs was amazing and the laughs and of course wine and yoga was just what we all needed. A wonderful weekend with Sab and a fabulous group of ladies I had never met before! It doesn't get much better than a Retreat Here Yoga & Wine Retreat! The Summer House in Torquay was beautiful and the food was amazing! Apart from being an awesome yoga instructor, Sab ensured everyone got what they wanted from the weekend. Lots of laughs, time to relax (be it a nap, a walk or time to read a book), a couple of wines with dinner and of course, plenty of yoga. Great yoga class, and well organised trip to the Bellarine Peninsula. The ferry ride across was a great way to go, and the wine tasting was good too, with a knowledgeable host.
I joined the yoga and champagne breakfast sessions and I think it was awesome. Sab is a great instructor, her class is catered for all levels. The first was in Nov 2018 at the Yarra Valley lodge and the second, which I won as a door prize, was for the galloping retreat at Balgownie Estate last weekend. Both retreats were well organised, the location, food, wine & yoga were all superb. It was so lovely to just relax, meet and spend time with like-minded people. Yes. Please treat your yoga holiday as if it were a regular holiday. We work with a lot of different suppliers who all need to be paid. Therefore, highly recommend travel insurance to cover you in case of unexpected injury or illness.


No. You will have to make your own way to Kingparrot Cottages. A detailed itinerary will be provided upon booking.


Absolutely yes. In fact, many of our (recurring) retreat guests are female solo travellers. You can either book a private room if still available, or we pair you up with another guest.


All our classes are suited to all-levels, and therefore beginner friendly. We do recommend attending a few beginner classes in a studio near you, only to make your yoga retreat experience more enjoyable. It’s not a must though!


Yes, we cater for vegans and vegetarians, and can accommodation most (if not all) dietary needs.


No problem at all. We provide kombucha, teas and if you have a special request, don’t hesitate to let us know.

Yes. As long as we still have a twin room available, we will always pair you up with the person of your choice. You can add your friend’s name in the booking form. When in doubt, give us a call and we’ll check available spots for you.
